This web site

These pages set no cookies, contain no advertising, and use no tracking or analytics services of other companies. Like every web server, mine records each request in its log files - the address of the computer, the time, the page, the browser, and the page you came from. The logs are kept for one year and are only used to see how the site is used and to keep it secure; the published statistics show anonymized addresses only. Some pages embed or link videos on YouTube; when you follow such a link, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

The "homepage backup" app

"homepage backup" is my personal backup tool, not a public app. It runs on my own computer and uses its access to Google Drive only to store encrypted backups of this web site in my own Drive account. It can see only the files it creates itself, it handles no data of any other person, and it shares nothing with anyone.
